Sister Élise Labrèque

First member from the country of our ancestors.
Originating from Courseulles-sur-Mer in France. Sister of the Congrégation Notre-Dame de Fidélité, who lived in the town of Caen in France.
Recognized by the 1994-1995 Board of Directors. First member of the land of our ancestors (Member number 246).
She was born in 1910 in Courseulles and died on November 27, 2006 at the age of 97 years.

The 1st of July 1996 in Courseulles-sur-Mer, during the Labrecque trip to France, travelers and Sister Élise Labrèque attended the inauguration of "Quai des frères Labrèque" in honor of the family of Sister Elise who made boats in Courseulles. In particular, several models and souvenirs from the Labrèque family are Musée de Courseulles.

His family :

  • His grandfather, Louis Laurent Labrèque, was born on the 7th in 1842 (place unknown) and died in 1910 in Courseulles.
  • His father, Louis Arthur Labrèque, was born on 22 August 1874 in Courseulles and died in Courseulles on January 1956.
  • The three brothers of Élise Justine Labrèque:
    • Louis-Pierre Labrèque, 1903-1989, born and deceased at Courseulles;
    • Pierre Georges Labrèque, 1906-1944, born and deceased at Courseulles;
    • Constant Labrèque, 1908-1990, born and deceased at Courseulles.
